Controlled long term outcome of pyloromyotomy for pyloric stenosis: No long-term adverse effect

Long-term follow-up study of 60 adults who underwent pyloromyotomy for infantile pyloric stenosis shows no clinically significant adverse effects compared to matched controls. The findings support that routine long-term follow-up into adulthood is unnecessary for this patient population.
