Bladder height width ratio on voiding cystourethrogram as a predictor of future valve bladder in children with posterior urethral valve

This study identifies bladder height-width ratio >1.45 on post-ablation VCUG as a predictive marker for valve bladder development in children with posterior urethral valves, showing 89% sensitivity and 84% specificity. Early identification enables timely intervention to improve renal outcomes in this high-risk population.
