Transition and reversal: long-term experience of the MACE procedure in children

Long-term study of 95 children who underwent MACE procedure shows 72% overall success rate for managing fecal incontinence across three diagnostic groups. One-fifth of patients achieved independent continence and underwent reversal, with significantly higher reversal rates in Hirschsprung disease patients (54%) compared to other groups.
