Rapamycin induces autophagy and apoptosis in Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma primary cells in vitro

In vitro study demonstrates rapamycin's dual mechanism against Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma cells: blocking mTOR signaling pathway while simultaneously inducing autophagy and apoptosis. Findings provide molecular evidence supporting rapamycin's clinical use in KHE with Kasabach-Merritt phenomenon.
