Thoracoscopic repair for esophageal pulmonary fistula after esophageal atresia repair

Retrospective study of seven pediatric patients demonstrates thoracoscopic repair is safe and feasible for esophageal-pulmonary fistula, a rare complication after esophageal atresia repair. All patients survived with good symptom control at 22-month follow-up, despite prior multiple chest surgeries and refractory strictures.
