Neurolysis for Analgesia Following Pectus Repair in a National Cohort

This PHIS database study of 2,979 pediatric pectus repairs found that intraoperative thoracic neurolysis was associated with shorter hospital stays (2.55 vs 3.73 days) compared to traditional pain management strategies. The technique shows promise as an opioid-sparing analgesic approach for chest wall deformity repair.
