Systematic review and meta-analysis examining chlorhexidine cleansing effectiveness in preventing healthcare-associated infections in neonates. While chlorhexidine significantly reduced skin bacterial colonization and central line-associated bloodstream infections, no significant effect on neonatal sepsis was found.
