Use of trans-anastomotic tubes in congenital duodenal obstruction
Topic overview
Retrospective study of 96 neonates with congenital duodenal obstruction found that transanastomotic feeding tubes enabled significantly earlier enteral feeding (6 vs 10 days) compared to standard management. This simple intervention may reduce complications and hospital stay in this population.
