Predictors of early lobectomy after birth in prenatally diagnosed congenital pulmonary airway malformation

Retrospective analysis of 36 prenatally diagnosed CPAM cases examining the relationship between congenital pulmonary airway malformation volume ratio and timing of postnatal lobectomy. Macrotype CCAM with CVR >2.0 strongly predicted need for emergent or urgent neonatal surgery, while bronchial atresia cases typically underwent elective procedures.
