Topical corticosteroids for phimosis in children: a network meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials

Network meta-analysis comparing topical corticosteroids for pediatric phimosis treatment found methylprednisolone, hydrocortisone, and betamethasone most effective for clinical resolution. Surprisingly, very high-potency agents like beclomethasone showed no superiority. Authors recommend low-potency hydrocortisone as preferred first-line therapy.
