Evaluating the Use of Laparoscopic-Assisted Gastrostomy Tube Feeding in Children with Epidermolysis Bullosa: A Single-Centre Retrospective Study

Retrospective study of 32 children with epidermolysis bullosa who underwent laparoscopic-assisted gastrostomy placement demonstrated significant improvements in growth parameters with acceptable complication rates. Minor complications occurred in 58% of patients, while major leakage developed in only 6.5%, with no mortality reported at 12-month follow-up.
