Retrospective Study of Postoperative Mortality at a Tertiary Children's Hospital in Iran: A Cross Sectional Study

This retrospective study analyzed 55,027 pediatric surgeries at a tertiary Iranian hospital from 2015-2018, finding a 30-day mortality rate of 78.6 per 10,000 procedures. Children under three years and those with cardiac comorbidities faced the highest risk, with findings aimed at improving postoperative care in developing nations.
