Urinary N1,N12-diacetylspermine as a biomarker for pediatric cancer: a case–control study

This case-control study evaluated urinary N1,N12-diacetylspermine as a non-invasive tumor marker in 32 pediatric cancer patients versus 405 controls. DiAcSpm showed highest sensitivity for malignant lymphoma (77.8%) compared to neuroblastoma (30.8%) and leukemia (40%), with age-related baseline variations most pronounced in infants.
