Lymphaticovenous bypass of the thoracic duct for the treatment of chylous leak in central conducting lymphatic anomalies

Novel surgical technique using lymphaticovenous bypass of the terminal thoracic duct shows promise for treating intractable chylous leaks in patients with central conducting lymphatic anomalies. In a 14-patient series, 50% achieved complete resolution with no major complications, offering a potential curative option for this devastating condition.
