Generic Health-Related Quality of Life after Repair of Esophageal Atresia and Its Determinants within a German–Swedish Cohort

International study of 192 pediatric patients found that health-related quality of life after esophageal atresia repair varies by EA severity and type rather than age or associated malformations. Patients with severe EA and Gross type C showed lower HRQoL scores, with notable differences between Swedish and German cohorts suggesting cultural factors may influence outcomes perception.
