Extubation Strategies after Esophageal Atresia Repair
Topic overview
This retrospective study of 46 neonates examines optimal extubation timing after esophageal atresia repair. Extubation in the NICU within 24 hours carried the lowest reintubation risk, while operating room extubation increased risk sevenfold.
