Analysis of Adolescent Patient Satisfaction and Well-Being following Reduction Mammaplasty using The BREAST-Q Survey

This prospective study uses the validated BREAST-Q survey to measure quality of life outcomes in 15 adolescent breast reduction patients, comparing surgical candidates who underwent reduction mammaplasty versus insurance-denied controls. Results show statistically significant improvements across all domains except sexual well-being, with patient satisfaction correlating most strongly to information provision rather than factors driving adult satisfaction.
