Gynecological and psycho-sexual aspects of women with history of anorectal malformations

This study evaluates gynecological and psycho-sexual outcomes in 19 adult women with surgically corrected anorectal malformations. Findings include high rates of Mullerian anomalies (37%) and sexual dysfunction, with 21% reporting dyspareunia or impossible penetration, highlighting the need for multidisciplinary long-term follow-up and psychological support.
