Retrospective study of 54 pediatric patients demonstrates crystallized phenol treatment for pilonidal sinus disease achieves 91% success rate with minimal complications. The minimally invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia offers cost-effective outpatient management with good cosmetic outcomes, supporting its use as first-line therapy in children.
