Magnet ingestion in children and its implications: tertiary centre experience

Retrospective study of 46 pediatric patients with magnet ingestion at a UK tertiary center (2014-2020). Multiple magnet ingestion poses significant risk of bowel perforation and fistula formation; 18 patients required surgical intervention including endoscopy or laparotomy. Authors propose structured management algorithm.
