Promising Results for Hypospadias Repair Using Alloderm® (Regen): A Randomized Controlled Trial

Randomized controlled trial of 60 pediatric patients demonstrates that Alloderm® (Regen) significantly reduces urethrocutaneous fistula formation in hypospadias repair compared to standard technique (10% vs 26.7%, P=0.014). The acellular dermal matrix was used as an additional layer in both primary repairs and fistula revisions with minimal complications.
