Growth Failure Prevalence in Neonates with Gastroschisis : A Statewide Cohort Study

Multicenter study of 125 neonates with gastroschisis found 55% developed growth failure at discharge, with linear growth particularly affected. Weight and length z-scores declined significantly during hospitalization, with lower gestational age associated with increased risk, highlighting critical need for improved nutritional protocols in this population.
