Cryoanalgesia enhances recovery from minimally invasive repair of pectus excavatum resulting in reduced length of stay: A case-matched analysis of NSQIP-Pediatric patients

Case-matched analysis of 175 pediatric patients demonstrates that cryoanalgesia during minimally invasive pectus excavatum repair reduces hospital stay by 1.3 days without increasing operative time or complications. This nerve ablation technique shows promise as an enhanced recovery strategy for improving postoperative pain control in this population.
