Implementation and acceptance rates of a specially designed vacuometer for the vacuum bell treatment of pectus excavatum.

This prospective study evaluated a custom vacuometer device that allows patients to monitor negative pressure during vacuum bell therapy for pectus excavatum. Among 54 pediatric patients (mean age 12.6 years), the device achieved 83.3% satisfaction with no skin complications, suggesting it may improve treatment adherence and safety.
