Feasibility of PTSD Risk Identification in Pediatric Traumatic Patients using PsySTART: A Pilot Study

This pilot study evaluated PsySTART, a psychological triage tool, for identifying PTSD risk factors in 63 pediatric trauma patients aged 10-17 years. The tool successfully identified risk factors in 74.6% of patients and achieved 78.8% completion rates after EMR integration, enabling proactive mental health interventions in the acute trauma setting.
