Comparative analysis of reliability and clinical effects of the critical view of safety approach used in laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the pediatric population

Retrospective study of 91 pediatric patients demonstrates that Critical View of Safety technique during laparoscopic cholecystectomy is reliable in children, with CVS group showing faster return to oral feeding without increased complications. Findings support CVS adoption as standard practice for preventing bile duct injury in pediatric cholecystectomy.
