Clinical features of amoebic appendicitis in children: A study of 23 cases

Retrospective study of 23 pediatric patients reveals that amoebic appendicitis involving the appendiceal wall carries higher perforation risk compared to incidental amoebiasis in the lumen. Anti-parasitic treatment was not necessary in either group, as most patients were asymptomatic at follow-up.
