Quality of Life in Parents of Children With Biliary Atresia

Cross-sectional study of 61 parents with children diagnosed with biliary atresia finds overall quality of life comparable to general population, though families report reduced activities and increased emotional worry alongside stronger cohesion. Risk factors for impaired parental QoL include high-anxiety personality traits, older parental age, and lower household income, independent of child's transplant status.
