Postoperative enterocolitis assessment using two different cut-off values in the HAEC score in Hirschsprung patients undergoing Duhamel and Soave pull-through

Retrospective study of 83 Hirschsprung patients comparing postoperative enterocolitis rates after Duhamel vs Soave procedures using two HAEC scoring thresholds. Lower cut-off (≥4) detected more mild cases than standard threshold (≥10), with no significant association found between HAEC incidence and patient risk factors.
