Repeated measures correlation between functional capacity, pulmonary function and chest expansion in children undergoing open abdominal surgery: Secondary analysis from Randomized clinical trial

This secondary analysis of 18 pediatric patients undergoing open abdominal surgery found moderate correlation between pulmonary function and chest expansion, but poor correlation with functional capacity measures (6MWT, 10mWT, 9SCT). The findings suggest each assessment tool provides unique clinical information for postoperative evaluation.
