Cardiovascular MRI assessment of Pectus Excavatum in pediatric patients and post-operative simulation using Vacuum Bell

Cardiac MRI study of 26 pediatric pectus excavatum patients evaluates cardiovascular effects of Vacuum Bell application as a simulation of post-surgical correction. Results show significant improvement in chest wall morphology (Haller Index reduced 13%) with minimal positive changes in right ventricular volume and function during VB use, though baseline cardiac function was normal in most patients.
