VS-5584, a PI3K/mTOR dual inhibitor, exerts antitumor effects on neuroblastomas in vitro and in vivo

Preclinical study demonstrates VS-5584, an oral PI3K/mTOR dual inhibitor, effectively suppresses neuroblastoma growth by inducing G0/G1 cell cycle arrest and blocking key signaling pathways. Both in vitro cell studies and in vivo mouse models showed significant antitumor activity through downregulation of phospho-S6K1 and cell cycle regulatory proteins.
