Does implementation of the PECARN rules for minor head trauma improve patient-centered outcomes in a lower resource emergency department: a retrospective cohort study

Retrospective study evaluating PECARN rule implementation in a Lebanese pediatric emergency department found significant CT reduction in children under 2 years at low risk for clinically important traumatic brain injury (20.7% to 11.4%), without increasing missed injuries or bounce-back rates.
