Successful living donor liver transplantation plus domino-auxiliary partial orthotopic liver transplantation for pediatric patients with metabolic disorders

Case series demonstrating successful domino-auxiliary partial orthotopic liver transplantation in three pediatric patients with metabolic disorders, where explanted livers from OTCD and CNS1 patients served as donor grafts for recipients with complementary metabolic defects. All patients maintained normal liver function over 26-month follow-up, supporting this approach as a viable strategy to expand the pediatric donor pool.
