Laparoscopic resection of liver tumors in children

Case series of 6 pediatric patients (4 months to 16 years) who underwent laparoscopic resection of benign liver tumors, demonstrating technical feasibility with one conversion to open surgery due to bleeding. All patients had uncomplicated postoperative courses with discharge by postoperative day 7, supporting laparoscopic approach for selected pediatric hepatic lesions when performed by trained teams.
