Journal of pediatric surgery: effects of an automated social media strategy for knowledge dissemination

This retrospective study evaluates an automated social media strategy for the Journal of Pediatric Surgery, analyzing 165 posts across Facebook and Twitter that generated over 500,000 impressions and nearly 10,000 article views. Topic selection had the strongest impact on engagement, with colorectal and EA/TEF content performing best, though custom infographics outperformed automated posts in driving article readership.
