Robot-assisted laparoscopic extravesical versus conventional laparoscopic extravesical ureteric reimplantation for pediatric primary vesicoureteric reflux: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Meta-analysis comparing robotic-assisted versus conventional laparoscopic extravesical ureteral reimplantation in pediatric VUR patients. Robotic approach showed longer operative times and lower success rates (93.4% vs 97.6%) despite handling more complex cases with higher-grade reflux and bilateral involvement. Complication rates were comparable between techniques at approximately 6%.
