High-frequency vs. conventional ventilation at the time of CDH repair is not associated with higher mortality and oxygen dependency: a retrospective cohort study

Retrospective study of 80 CDH infants comparing high-frequency oscillatory ventilation versus conventional mechanical ventilation at time of surgical repair. Propensity score analysis revealed no significant difference in 28-day mortality or oxygen dependency between ventilation modes, suggesting equivalence in clinical outcomes.
