Optimal management of gastrojejunal tube in the ENFit era — Interventions that changed practice

This study evaluated complications of jejunal feeding tubes in children following introduction of ENFit connectors in 2017. Two interventions—fixative sutures and conversion to balloon devices—reduced complication rates from 76% to 30%, with balloon gastrojejunostomy showing superior outcomes compared to PEGJ.
