Enough is enough: Radiation doses in children with gastrojejunal tubes

This retrospective study of 203 pediatric patients found that 9% accumulated over 50 mGy of radiation solely from gastrojejunal tube replacements, with some patients requiring up to 88 procedures. Authors recommend surgical jejunostomy for patients exceeding specific thresholds to minimize cumulative radiation exposure.
