Over a decade of single-center experience with thoracoscopic sympathicolysis for primary palmar hyperhidrosis: a case series

This 12-year retrospective study of 102 pediatric patients demonstrates that thoracoscopic sympathicolysis achieves 95% complete palmar dryness with high patient satisfaction (99% would repeat procedure) despite compensatory sweating in 66% of cases. The technique involves bilateral bipolar fulguration of T2-T3 ganglia and shows rare severe complications in children under 14.
