Standardizing lymph nodal sampling for Wilms tumor: A feasibility study with outcomes

Prospective study of 113 Wilms tumor patients demonstrates feasibility of standardized 5-station lymph node sampling, yielding median 8 nodes with 13.2% positive disease rate. Interaortocaval nodes showed metastasis in 46.7% of node-positive cases, with skip metastases in 28.6%, supporting routine sampling of this station to improve staging accuracy.
