Abdominal angiography is associated with reduced in-hospital mortality among pediatric patients with blunt splenic and hepatic injury: A propensity-score-matching study from the national trauma registry in Japan

Retrospective study of 639 pediatric blunt trauma patients in Japan found that abdominal angiography was associated with significantly lower in-hospital mortality (4.9% vs 11.2%) in splenic or hepatic injuries after propensity-score matching.
