Prevalence and risk factors for congenital diaphragmatic hernia: A global view

This systematic review analyzed 30 studies spanning 73 million births to establish global CDH prevalence at 2.3 per 10,000 births. Male sex and maternal age >35 years were identified as significant risk factors, while maternal black ethnicity showed protective effects. The authors highlight critical gaps in population-based epidemiological data across world regions.
