Children With Facial Burns Treated in United States Emergency Departments, 2000 to 2018

This retrospective epidemiological study analyzes nearly two decades of NEISS data to characterize facial burn injuries in pediatric patients presenting to U.S. emergency departments. The research examines injury patterns, mechanisms, and temporal trends to inform prevention strategies and clinical management of this vulnerable population.
