Outcome of Very Low and Low Birth Weight Infants with Esophageal Atresia: Results of the Turkish Esophageal Atresia Registry

Turkish registry study of 389 esophageal atresia cases shows that very low and low birth weight infants have significantly higher mortality rates and feeding challenges compared to normal birth weight infants, even after successful primary repair.
