An analysis of pediatric social vulnerability in the Pennsylvania trauma system

This Pennsylvania statewide study examined whether neighborhood social vulnerability affects pediatric trauma patients' access to rehabilitation services. Individual insurance status, rather than community-level vulnerability, was the primary predictor of rehab admission, with insured patients having 3-4 times higher odds of rehab placement compared to uninsured patients.
