Published: Reading: 1 min

Topic overview

This prospective cohort study of 157 healthy term infants tracked gastroesophageal reflux from birth to 12 months, finding physiological GER peaked at 3 months (59%) and GERD at 1 month (19%), with most cases resolving spontaneously.
