Safety and efficacy of trigonal BTX-A injections for children with neurological detrusor overactivity secondary to spinal cord injury

This prospective study demonstrates that trigonal botulinum toxin A injections (200U) are safe and effective for managing neurogenic detrusor overactivity in children with spinal cord injury. At 12 weeks post-injection, patients showed significant improvements in urodynamic parameters and quality of life without developing vesicoureteral reflux.
