Trapdoor anterior thoracotomy for cervicothoracic and apical thoracic neuroblastoma in children

Retrospective study of 21 pediatric patients with cervicothoracic or apical thoracic neuroblastoma treated via trapdoor anterior thoracotomy. All patients achieved gross total resection with minimal morbidity, demonstrating this surgical approach effectively manages complex tumors with vascular encasement and dual compartmental involvement.
